Job Description Summary: The Customer Service Sales Representative will ensure growth and sustainable material sales revenue in the Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer industry for Ultra Fiberglass Systems. This will be accomplished through exceptional customer service to new and existing Ultra Fiberglass Systems Customers. This position will work closely with Team Ultra Managers and Associates to obtain and present relevant information to customers that represents the best interests of the organization and its culture while delivering quality products and solutions.

In this position, the Sales Representative will

provide formal plans for sales growth and prospect opportunities with new and existing customers. This includes customer and product application research to identify new market opportunities / expand on vertical markets currently serviced by Ultra Fiberglass Systems.

represent the Ultra organization with customers and vendors, at conferences and conventions and in business to business communication.

Proper demeanor, excellent communication, and professional character are critical in formal and informal interaction with Customers, Team Ultra Associates and Vendors.

occasional travel and weekends along with irregular hours may be required.


Promptly manage customer inquiries, provide technical data, determine application needs, describe FRP features and benefits, quote prices and acquire application data

Accept and review customer material orders for accuracy of material, pricing, application and quantity

Process and document customer and vendor PO orders

Proficient knowledge of structural, grating and specialty FRP material and their applications

Assist Team Ultra Associates in pricing and material acquisition for non-material sales needs

Identify preferred industries and markets for Ultra Fiberglass Systems services and structural materials

Document, organize and maintain customer information for accounting, files, and future reference

Work with Team Ultra Associates for continuous improvement of the sales process

Negotiate contracts and agreements to protect the interests and profits of the Ultra organization

Monitor competition for strategic planning within the FRP industry

Assist with general business operations to support Team Ultra as needed to achieve performance goals, excellent service, customer solutions and high-quality products

Features of the Job:

Assignments are typically in the form of tasks or areas of responsibility. Associate has latitude for independent action in setting objectives and deciding how to proceed.

Education and/or Experience: - College Degree or an equivalent of education and experience: 5+ years progressive work experience is generally needed to meet job standards.

- Previous experience in FRP, steel or construction sales and design

- Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Proven sales experience and results

- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
